How mutch power can wistdraw our 5 speed tranny? and how can i make her stronger to witdraw 300whp

yum! damn things are loud though...lol

as far as the tranny is concerned, clutch pressure plate and flywheel will be a start, and it will hold 300 whp fine with that, and a little more. for the flywheel you can use the rsx-s flywheel, or go aftermarket.

no, actually that is a pretty decent price for straight cut gears.

You don't need to do a damn thing to the transmission for it to hold 300whp. Clutch upgrade of course, and you probably want a limited slip diff, but that is different matter.

Straight cut gears would be a joke on an EP. Just not needed.

this is true as well. the straight cut gears really start coming into play when you get into the 400whp range. at this point under heavy load the shafts start to pull apart slightly which will eat up the teeth on the stock gears fairly quick.

Im using an ep3 trans in my rsx right now. It's holding fine at 460whp and 650whp. It will eventually go but for what they cost I cant complain.

would be really nice if those gears were made custom. i don't like those ratios.:mangel:
