OK guys please dont flame but i am getting the reflash for my EP. but i noticed that ClubRSX sells them you can specify a rev limit, what is the safe rev of a K20A3? 7700 sounds a wee bit high, i was thinking maybe 7400-7500

The default setting with kpro is 7200, im sure thats safe, but dont forget our rpms are off 200-300. so when it says 7500 on the tach its really about 7200.

If you are getting the reflash and not Kpro, then you are given a non-adjustable redline of 7,700 rpm. Of course, you don't have to rev it that high if you don't want.

exactly, I am getting the reflash this week from a member and after I fix my primary o2 sensor i'll get it synched. I won't be seeing 7700 everyday that's for sure. I only really get on it when I'm getting onto the interstate and when I am at the track.

If you take care of your car (oil changes, etc.) and don't drive like a total ricer (tap the limiter from every traffic light), 7700 won't hurt you. Like Kodeen said, you don't HAVE to rev up to 7700...

Yeah, I've been shifting much more conservatively as well lately due to gas prices.
