I found some old ones, these were with the 195/60 tires and skunk 2 lowering springs.
I'm having a hard time finding pictures of the wheels before I painted them.

most of you are saying no on the neuspeeds. I would like a 2in drop, so how about h&r sports?

h&rs are better if you must lower your car 2 inches. my main beef with the neuspeed springs is their rates.

neuspeeds softer than stock
h&r is shitty and they sag
and the logo looks like haribo japan

on another note, get the progress springs
or ground control coilovers with custom spring rates

stockies with progress springs.
perfect drop, still good handling, 280/500 stiffness

and softer
get ground control coilover sleeves and you can go 2.5'' ruin your shocks and handle like crap, but atleast you wont sag, and you can have stiff suspension.

So you are saying that when springs sag, it loses its stiffness? Im somewhat of a noob at suspension. I still lack some basic knowledge.

somebody needs to do a little research... i've got H&Rs and they're about 2yrs old and don't sag... so unless you have personal experience with them, i don't see how you can justify what you've said...

when you got them on the first time, did you measure the distances between each coil?
Do you have those distances to compare to the current distances?
if not then I'm sorry sir, but you have no proof your springs have not sagged.
with a progressive spring its possible for your height to not change
your springs will simply get softer. So your height may be the same at rest, but under a corner, you will have more suspension travel for the same amount of g-force.
All springs sag, the lower a spring is the more its tendency to sag depending on how they make it low.
a spring that is the same length as the stock spring but somehow makes it "lower" and "stiffer" at the same must utilize different diameters of coil wind or spring thickness. These WILL sag, guaranteed, and the more you have to lower the car while keeping the same length spring the more its tendency to sag.

On another note what kind of springs are those in the most recent pictures?

tein springs, was told they were s-techs, thinking maybe not...seems a lot lower than s-tech drop...

then by your logic all springs are trash seeing as how many lowering springs, including stock and progress, are progressive rate. he was referring to your harsh feedback on a spring that you have no personal experience with when he made his comment.

s-tech's are the lowest springs tein makes
you probably got the knock offs(you can read about it on their site) and they are probably much softer thus making the car lower.

I just meant that the lower you go with a spring the greater its tendency to sag because there is no way to maintain stock spring length and have a stiffer spring without having less coils spaced apart further or have each wind very very wide. Since they do not have an equal number of winds of greater diameter(which would prevent sagging) they must have less winds further apart, so they sag more than a spring of identical design but of a greater ride height.

I don't care what he was referring to; before someone tells me to do a little research they should perhaps research for themselves what they think is correct. If he doesn't think his springs have lost stiffness thats fine, but just because he thinks this he doesn't need to get an attitude. :mwink:

:noidea: they had tein logo on them and the serial numbers (though i didnt look em up)...i got them from a local race shop that i trust infinitely that pulled em off a guys car (hes a tein dealer), and supposedly they had 5-10k on them or something...

coils. but the car is no longer that low. it dint handle that well that low on that track day.

its about this high this to this day, which isnt very low. i find that the control arms tend to move more with it higher.

yeah the control arms do.
At the height you were at your lca's were already pointed up, when you corner they cant go any upper than they already are and they are shorter from the angle.
when they're perfectly straight they are the longest at rest and then shorten with suspension travel in either direction, giving you the appropriate camber for the appropriate corner, like a motelcycer
