Something is increasing the oil pressure in my friend's car (not EP) and causing the oil filter to puff like Arnold. I had to change the filter (and therefore the oil) three times in the last 1 week bacause the O-rings fail. Any ideas what might be happening?

my guess, unless he has raced the piss out of it, there is a
definite blockage causing the oil filter to balloon up. jmo

Oil pump was plugged. We ordered another one...
I originally thought it was a line blocked but it turned out the be the oil pump.
