If you don't have the CTR rear sway, that's an easy upgrade/mod for less than $100.

My check is going into my brakes. New front powerslot rotors (i cant decide on the big rotor kit or the OEM sized slotted), HP+ brake pads for the front and rear, and the corsport clutch and brake line package. Its going to good use. GO ECONOMY! ha.

A quick thought about stimulous checks:
My history professor today said that deficit spending won't work in this situation because American consumers are getting checks that will barely cover inflation, gas prices, and will go towards the purchase of mostly Chinese and foreign goods, and will not be invested so the actual money to each person does nothing. He is a kind of conservative guy, but one of the smartest professors I have had in college. oh well.

It is obvious that the stimulus checks won't help the economy. Even with a tax cut, the economy will still be the way it is because we over spent our means as a country. Anyways, my stimulus check is going to tuition.

Suspension purchases for under 300? RSX-S or CTR Rear sway with poly bushings, Energy Suspension Master Poly Bushing Kit (PITA to install, but well worth it).

are rear sway bars that important? do you notice any difference with or without them. i am still at stock height and plan on being there until i finish doing what i want engine wise. is a rear sway going to help a stock height car? it is on the type s and ctr factory, isnt it? so it must do something.

My $1800 stimulus check went where I exactly wanted it to go, to the savings account. I felt tempted and wanted to buy a big screen tv but what the hell for since I'm home after 7pm and go to bed by 10pm, then on the weekends I'm off is usually family time so why even bother.

Huge difference (especially on 02-03 EP's as we have a tiny rear sway). Find a 19 mm RSW rear sway and upgrade to ES bushings. Great mod for the $$.

The 02/03's have a 15mm rear sway, and the 04/05's have a 17mm. An upgrade to something like the DC5-S 21mm will be noticeable on either model, just not as much on the 04/05's.

02-05 all have a 25.4 mm front.

02 - 03 have a 15 mm rear.
04 - 05 have a 17 mm rear.

IIRC:
02-04 RSX-S have a 19 mm rear sway
05 RSX base has a 19 mm rear.
05 RSX S has a 21 mm rear.
CTR has a 22 mm rear.

I just did all in december, by far the best thing i ever did to the car

Highly recommend it, i just went with the oem size. Plenty of braking power for DD and highway stuff.

While don't totally disagree with your professor he is missing the bigger picture. I hate Chinese shit too and get pretty pissed when my wife brings home China crap from Wal-Mart but the truth is that alot of that money migrates back to the US and Europe. Much of the investment in China has been made by foreign intrests so the profits are mutually shared. Everybody is getting a piece of China. I remember when it was Japanese stuff that we weren't supposed to buy.....
