yep, it's my car...
put on the Ground Controls last week...
and just got the rims about an hour ago...
i think they look like 17's, maybe not in the pic...
rims w/ spokes that dont go all the way to the lip sometimes look smaller than they actually are...
the pics dont do them justice, look MUCH nicer in person...

You can get Ground Controls anywhere on the web for a little over $300, maybe less if you search around...
Bought the wheels off eBay (brand new) and the tires from Tire Rack...
paid a little under $1000 for the set...got a great deal...
the wheels usually sell for around $800-1000 w/o tires...

Just FYI...
17" Buddy Club P1 = 17.6 lbs/ea
with 215/45/17 tires= 38.5 lbs/ea

15" stock w/ 195/60/15= 38.8 lbs/ea

true true! Rims with lip usually don't look the size that they are.

$625 for the rims off eBay + $350 for the tires from Tire Rack...
I guess if you add shipping I paid a little over $1000...

Wow! Car looks good man, get rid of that puny spoiler in the back :) Sorry, just everytime I see the stock spoiler it looks funny to me now that I have the Type-R spoiler :)

Buddy Club is the way to go! They make good stuff.

I wish I knew why Honda was so conservative with what they send to the USA. If the Si is supposed to be an 'enthusiast' car as it is, why not really go all out and send a CTR?

Seems like such a no-brainer to me.

bought them off a ephatch member, brand new, he just decided to use neuspeed race springs instead...
the ground controls are nice...i have them set as high as possible and it's still a 2" drop...can lower them another 3" if i wanted to (i don't)... color choice is a matter of personal taste, dont get something because someone tells you to, or to please others, get what you like...its your car.

Man your car look nice, the wheels work well with the color. Ever thought about what it would look like with the CTR body kit and wing. Just wondering!?

Buddy Club....The first time i ever heard of them?

Are they like spoon sports and mugen? Whats up? Are they like Advan, a well known tuner?

Also what do you guys think of Rota attacks? They only weigh 15.5pds and are 17inch. They cost 512.00 with the 5%off from tornactive.com.

Is rotas good? I was thinking of going with Volk but the Se37's i want cost 1800.....

Buddy Club is right up there with Mugen and Spoon. They only make Honda parts. Thats the Buddy Club race Type-R at the top of the page.

Very nice looking ride, gunmetal on that blue is a good choice. One question, as I flip through some older posts. I am considering getting the Ground Control coilovers as well but would like to know how low you have yours set and do you forsee having to buy a camber kit in the future?

thanks
