Generally ppl get around low 14s because of lack of traction,

but one guy used drag radials (jerseyjew i believe) and he did 13.4

the best we ever got with the jrsc was a 14.0 with street tires, with a very bad 2.1 60 ft.@98 mph

ive only ran the 1/4 2 times and the first run i panicked and hit a 16.6 then after that i hit a 14.4. Couple more pratice runs, im sure i could get it lower.

i wanna go to a track so bad now... cuz i think im a good driver, i never mis-shift and i feel like my timing and the like are pretty damn good. but im not sure i have been with "one who could drive".... im better than a few people that i know are bad drivers though haha

Shifting and launching are two completely different things...

Shifting and launching are two completely different things...

thats very true, i realize that. but i think everyone has good and bad launches.. but with more experienced drivers there is better shifting. correct?

In drag racing I'd say the launch is what determines the final outcome, not just the shifting..

street tires, 28 psi, no launch, fully loaded with spare and backseat, not much power tuning (1 hour tuning on dyno), neuspeed springs on stock sturts. 14.2 @106. (221whp/165wtrq)

feasable to get in the 13's

If you're boosted and FWD stop hitting the track on street tires!! lol

ill scan you my time. but i dont think i have the 14.2 trap.

what speed do you trap at 13.4?

edit: i don't have em in my car. all i could find is 14.509@101.5
crappy launch! I've hit 14.4@104 and 14.2@106.

My best trap was just shy of 104 and continued to go down as the day went on. If I were trapping 106 I would be running 12.9's.

traping 106 really does not sound belivable with the jrsc at 9 lbs of boost, and if you ran a 14.2 with a trap of 106 you must have had like a 2.5 60ft.
