how should i go about cleaning some corroded SS to make it shine again?
it is not rusted, just rust-colored all over.

Depends on what you're cleaning, though.

Yep, works GREAT, wont make your hands smell bad either, and OK to EAT!!
I Recommend doing this cleaning with a glass of milk on the side aswell.

I bought a header that had been heat wrapped and that thing was caked with russy discoloration. It was a pain but it came out. Used high speed drill with wire brush spindle and sand bits. After used polish bit and compound. Lie U said mine was caked but it turned out awesome. I'll see if I can get you some pics up.

borrow a linemate and polish that shit....for those who dont kno a linemate is a 700 dollar grinder used for polishing.....
