Engine warm up & idle

When I start my ride the engine idles at about 2000rpm and gradually goes down. It seems like this takes forever though. Just wondered if this was normal or is it just me. My gf's pontiac grand am goes down after about a minute just idleing where as my EP takes longer.

nope mine does the same thing........ is her GP a 6cy. or 4????

Takes about 3 mins for mine to warm up and idle around 700 rpms.

thats normal

normal, but if your idle is really high and not going down, check your TPS or your cables

Idle is normal once it warms up.
