car was tuned on a dyno dynamics dyno but i had it on a dynojet for power pulls so i could have a comparison.

Dyno Dynamics - 212whp/159wtp
Dynojet - 238whp/186wtq

guess it speaks alot for the differences in dynos.

How did the JRSC affect your mileage? I"m thinking of getting ths street kit too. Does it run so rich that overall mpg has decreased significantly?

I'm definately interested in getting a JRSC but dont know which kit to go with. The street version, race hondata or race kpro??? I need to pass emissions so should I go with Kpro? or is the power card removed very easily to pass emissions when the time comes? Sorry for the noob questions but I just dont understand. Could someone clear this up for me or rather help a brother out?

How is your emmissions testing done? they just hook up to the obd port or they go all out with a full inpsection?

They go all out every other year.

edit: just to clear it up, one year its just safety and the next, safety and emissions.

The BC Stage2 cams for the K20A3 are set up for both F/I and N/A applications. I love them, I gained nearly 20 HP with them and I still have a modest 7,500 RPM redline.

Supposedly you can do 8k with no issues. I keep the limiter at 7500 on the street, 7700 on the track, just for extra safety. It's up to you.

Sweet man! thanks! i read about it last night. sounds like a great mod. i'm looking forward to it. seems i can slap it in a K24a1 as well when it's time for me to swap. how'd you tune it though, which map did u use to start with? did u just modify ur last one? do you need to replace the valves as well? thanks in advance. sorry if this is threadjacking

thanks mann! when my ep got dynoed, the curve still hasn't peaked yet @ 7500, so i thought there's still room for some more. but i said yeah, i'd rather be on the safe side.

The valve repalcement was by choice, not required. My EP was tuned by Shawn Church. After the cams were installed Shawn re-tuned the EP and it gained 19.5 HP.

The maxbore TB is an excellent upgrade choice and way cheaper then buying a full aftermarket TB. You will benefit from it more when running F/I, but it definitely will not hurt any setup.

how do i go about getting it? i'm sort of confused, is this a product or do you actually bore out the stock tb?

Its a service. You actually have to ship a stock throttle body to the guy and he bores it out and reassembles it and ships it back to you.

Are all of you guys happy with the JRSC???? I'm in between buying a Greddy Turbo kit and buying the JRCS street version since I live in CALI. I just want to know does the supercharger give you guys a nice kick in the pants when you jump on the throttle or is it like just a pull? I've driven a 05 STI and I loved the pull it did, but I've driven my gf's 06 Mini Cooper S and the supercharger pulls that car pretty quick. So any help would be great

I like it on the freeway. Cause once you get onto the freeway you can throw it in 5th gear and just step on the gas alittle and you can feel it pull already.

Example: Say that your going about 60mph-65mph on the freeway in 5th gear as soon as you step on the gas it pulls right away (before boost). Hope that helps.

With the Powercard, I doubt it. The Powercard piggyback system only adds fuel when the supercharger is building boost; during normal street cruising it doesn't do anything. With Kpro you can definitely see an increase in gas mileage with proper street tuning and if you stay off the go-pedal. Don't expect it to be a magic bullet though.

bro,may i ask. what dyno did you use? cuz i did the same set up as urs..bc stg2 cams, retainers, springs, valves , hondata img, plus a k24a1 head swap..(no maxbore) (shorty header+ hi-flow cat instead of race header) n i only got 4 additional horses @ 9psi on the dynojet. i did have belt slip at first though n got only 6psi tops, but i fixed it n went back to 9's. any suggestion what went wrong

Its all standard. The differences come with different motors. So it will be one size for a B18 and a different size for a K20. All K-series TB's are done the same.

hmmm, see this is why i think superchargedk20's tune could have a lottttt more room for improvement. he made 255 at 8700rpms, and when you pause the video of his car on the dyno at 7700 (my redline) it's 235. i think with a better tune he coulda made the same power 1000 rpms lower, but i have his blower, so its my turn :)
