So, I'd run outside and check on my own car, but alas it is in the shop still. :ohwell: I'm getting a new stock bumper and getting it painted though. Are the yellow reflectors on the front sides of the bumper removable?

Or is there just some empty hole there that'd look stupid? I'd like to clear them out if I can't remove them while my car is in the shop, in case it'd require additional painting. They are probably required by law to remain on and be yellow though, right?

i believe you have to unclip them from the inside to get them out

There would be a hole if you take them out. You could cover the whole with poxy or something that won't crack as easily, then sand it down since you're getting it painted anyways. I don't think they are required by law.

they are required by law.
some cars incorporate it into the headlight and taillight but they gotta be there.
many people shave them though, or you can have them painted the color of the car.

Depending on your car color, blacked out or clear might actually look good if you don't want to go through the hassle of deletion.

They have clear bumper lights(you would use colored bulbs) but they dont look good on all color EP3's.

Yea, my EP is VBP. It already has clear fender lenses and that looks good. I tried finding clear front bumper lenses, but couldn't. The shop said they could poxy the holes and paint it. I think painting the lenses VBP to match would look stupid.

So I am trying to find clear lenses. I might have the shop cover the holes if I can't.

have them cover it, provided you dont have to have an MOT or whatever the thing in canada is called where they inspect your lights and shit every year you wont run into trouble with the law.

If you remove those lights, don't throw them away, I had to replace one that was stolen and it cost me almost 90.00 for the parts!

No, he's correct. The MSRP for the rear bumper lights is $75. I laughed when I heard that, particularly because my insurance company is buying them.
