I was wondering how to take out the grey/silver interior panels? (ie. the front grey panels along the window (a pillar), rear grey panels along the rear windows (c pillar) and the silver thingymabobs on the door handle.

Thanks in advance to all you who helped me!

For the grey panels i think you just need to pull them, just be careful not to break any tab/clips. The silver part on the handle is easy, you just need a flat screw driver that can fit on the corners of the silver part.

the a pillars pull off. start at the top near the headliner. the back ones you need to unscrew o think 2 screws from the deck lid track(may be under little covers. and the silver on the door i use a 90 degree pick and start at the bottom to pop it out. i would take pics but the civic is under the knife at a shop.

If you're talking about the silver inserts in the handles that run vertically, there was an easier way. If you feel on the backside of the handle there's a small hole. I use a jeweler's screwdriver to stick in there and pop the silver insert out (sole purpose of that hole).

no problem leave a note if you get stuck. Now I have to figure out how to get the panels back in after I put my speaker box in. It fits in there but I didn't account for how I was going to slide it in.:laser:

Did you get it apart yet? I have not taken mine off yet but jpax use to have a video on how to do it but I think it was lost. If I remember right you take the window button mechinism off first then there is some screws behind it. I can take photos if you need more info.

it looks bigger in that picture... must be the angle I took it at, I wish I would have gotten the smaller box but I have always wanted more bass and 2 15" type R's should have it!!!
