okay, what is the purpose of Rear LCA's, do they do anything?
other than being lighter than stock.. what the heck are they for?
if they are for anything, which are the best?

where do you get the thicker progress rear sway, I want the biggen, not just the 22mm

The biggest benefit of after market LCA's would be the from the bushings. Though you can get the same results from just changing the bushings....

LCA's are lighter and they are part of the bling factor.

yea they just look cool. The rear of my car felt stiffer after the install but I also added 22mm rear sway, mugen replica h bar, rear c pillar bar, and cusco b pillar bars. So it deffinatly wasnt the LCA's

Aftermarket LCA's are longer than the OEM ones & correct the suspension geometry's tendency to put one's roll center beneath the ground when lowered excessively. They're a functional piece in that they better the handling for the guys who lower their car too far, but are not particularly necessary if one were to only lower one-to-two inches.

for the most part LCAs are just for bling bling.
if you want a bigger Progress rear sway bar, i assume you want the 24mm instead of the 22mm. you can go to clubrsx for one. http://www.clubrsx.com/cr/PRO-62-0103-p-ARSXSSWB.html

Incorrect Sir.. That is not the case for all aftermarket LCA's.

My Skunk2's are the exact size of the OEM LCA's, and I believe that is the case with the Function7's also.

In general, not on EP3s (although I cannot figure out why they even exist if they're not functional).

Perhaps the manufacture wants to make money off of the ignorance of consumers? its not like it doesn't happen else where....

people buy them because they look cool. eventually, they justify their purchase by calling it a weight saving.

True. Was I correct about their intended function, at least?

Some will and some will not from what I have read. The 24mm will fit the 02-03 SI but I have hard that they will not fit the 04-05. I remember there was one member that tried the fit on the 04-05 with a 02-03 progress sway bar and it did not fit right. To bad we had the crash.
