Specifically, the Type S stock Bose sub? Some guy wants to give it to me but don't want to hassle unless I know it'll work..

Sell your ep3, buy a Type S with the Bose sound system. If you miss your ep3 you can always convert the Type S to 2002 Si 4 lug and put a k20a3 in it.

I do not believe it works, certainly not plug-n-play.

Resist the impulse buy, there are a bunch of options out there by Infinity, Bazooka, MTX, etc that, although are not as invisible, provide better low end and will actually work.

well, I had a Type S and thats how I made my connections... haha..

I can get one but just dont want to try wiring it if it's not going to work.. :mfrown: I don't really want to spend anymore money with converters or anything.. so probably the question should be is it plug and play or at least be as ez as plug and play (if possible)?

the difference is in that the type s has an amp and we dont. its a big stupid complicated amp too, all the speakers are powered in the type s.
you could convert everything to type s im sure.

It all depends on the phase of the moon, the menstrual cycle of the designing engineer's first born sister, and the distant howl of the Coyote ;)
