yes. it is definately worth buying. it will improve your car, even with a stock motor.

depending on who you ask, some call it a piggyback unit and/or standalone.

The JRSC-S is a great item for your car, unfortunately the powercard setup that JR provides is less than spectacular. Kpro would allow you to change things such as REVlimit, ignition, fuel maps, and everything from immobolizer disabling to boost control. With Kpro you wouldnt need to run the powercard. And you could get the JRSC-S tuned for YOUR car to make the MOST power possible. Even though its close to 1000.00 dollars, the door that you open when you get kpro enables you to do tons and tons of stuff.

Now that I have helped you, please help yourself by searching. The answers to the questions you are asking can be sought out on hondata.com clubrsx.com or even here. :D good luck!

K pro would give so much more to your JRSC-S....

like what plainol2k2si said... the REVlimmit, ignition, fuel maps ...etc

get a good tune for it and you'll feel a big difference with k pro

+1 for k-pro. it will be a noticable improvement for the street kit over the powercard. when i had my jrsc-r kit on the best money i spent out of all of it was getting the car tuned with k-pro.

How can you ask if kpro is worth it....jesus man. Kpro will suck your dick while you drive! What other car mod will do that?

if you're a bolt ons a reflash will do the job. but if you plan on getting the best out of your engine's setup or eventually plan to boost or do any kind of internal work, then k-pro is a must.

I had a bitch of a time wiring mine up but it is kinda like nitrous activation. Over a certain rpm and engine load.

i 2nd that too! i ran kpro in my stock car with just intake and exhaust and uploaded the high and low octane program and it did a fucking amazing job imporoveing it over the stock ecu. with low oct i get about ummm est 50 more gas milage i should say and with high oct im a lil bit more quicker! shits fucking crazy b!

It's like onboard datalogging - you only have it if your serial number is #4111 or higher. :mwink:

OH Yea, it all depends on the engine load :mcool:

Kpro is a very cool thing to have. It gives you full control of your car. And you can for sure notice a difference. You dont need to know everything when you first buy it. It comes with maps that are pre loaded and you can use right when you get it. You can also change every little thing and do datalogs, which is really neat and can really come in handy

When i first put kpro in and took it for a spin, it felt like the first time i ever drove my car. It felt like the flame has been re-kindled
