Ok i was looking at some ebay intakes and they seem to be the same as AEM its just a aluminum pipe w/ and filter, they are both made by t-304 aluminum. Ebay intakes are 3 inches and AEM are 2.25 inches. I think the reason the AEM is more expensive is b/c they have the C.A.R.B sticker. If you could tell me something i dont know about the ebay intake plz do so.

ummm....most ebay intakes do not have all the required bungs. most of them do not have the hole for the air intake temp sensor.

All I have to say is... it's only a friggin intake, and they usually all use the same filter element anyways... for $10-15 it's worth a try, and if it's that bad when you take it out of the box, it's cheap enough to cut your losses and toss it. Either way, as long as you don't get a short ram, you won't have to worry about heatsoak.

And if you have enough money spent on your motor, boost, etc... you shouldn't be looking at anything that cheap anyways.

so make a hole.

Ebay's intakes are cheap enough that you can buy them, and if minor work is needed to make them fit, then so be it. an intake is an intake.

if ur in cali or in smog required state the C.a.r.b. sticker will save u $ and headaches trust me..spend the extra money now so u dont have to spend anymorw later
