Mugen Grill.......

ok so im gonna be getting a mugen grill from a buddy of mine and its for the 04-05 bumper..........i have an 02-03..... now my question is what kinda work needs to be done to make it fit?? we were talkin about it and we think we could do it no prob. but i figured a little feedback from you guys would help before we did it.....

Well to tell you the truth i am not sure you will get it to fit without cutting a lot of material off the bumper.

did you cut anything up top^...other then that a litle cutting in the bottom and your good too go...anyway i'm doing the same on mine...I used too have 04-05 type-r grill + 02-03 bumper

but my father backed into me this morning sooo going with a new setup :mangel:

yah anthony ill help you...uhh...modify the grill, seeing the ctr bumper like that should be close enough, especially if we cut the us bumper like the 04/05 without the optional top mount...

...if you wanna try test fitting it sometime this week or this weekend we can figure it out...make tire marker lines on the bumper where it needs to be cut or something

ok so heres the scoop on the install process from yesterday.............. we cut the bumper which was way too easy........ and decided to go with a flat black paint....and let me telly ou guys it looks SICK!...... i will be posting up pics of what the bumper looks like from the moddin.....and also pics BEFORE&AFTER install of the grill itself

bro.......this grill is from mugen themselves opn that not i finaly got everything done a mounted up now keep in mind that its only a $7 paint job and its a flat black for now............but here are some pics.....

very little, just trimmed the corner out of the bumper where the outter clips go on the grill, sticky taped the top and bottom of grill like mugen suggests for mounting anyway...well mugen just wants you to sticky the bottom, but it worked out

fits as good as when i had it on a 04/05 type r bumper...the 04/05 mugen grill is raised a bit...it doesnt sit flush even on the correct bumper
