Its like every site I look on I get a different rate on these springs. Is it an average drop of 2" or 1.5"

I'm trying to decide between h&r sport and the skunk 2. I'd like to have a 2" drop with a stiff spring

ive always thought that they were 1.5 fr and 1.3 rear???? :noidea:

S2 is great stuff though. i put S2 under my girls car for everything. her car handles amazing.

i just looked on S2's site and according to them they are a 1.3 fr and 1.4 rear drop. hope this helps.

of course you could go coilovers 0"-4"!

im pretty sure the s2's are 2 inches, regaurdless of what the web says.
the specs for s2's on the site is generic, it says thats the average drop for all their springs, the ep3 ones are lower.
you could get the skunk2 adjustable coilovers though for like 200 or somethin

Is this true??? what are the cheapest coilovers you can get(while still keeping quality)?

the H&R's suck
go progress s you are saying that the progress lowering springs are better and drop the ep lower than the s2's do. i got an offer for progress springs but do not know how much they will drop my car. message me if you anything on them and how much the drop is for a 04 ep3 yo.

After using/seeing a couple different springs between me and a friend I would suggest using a different spring company than Skunk2. They tend to sag pretty quick (less than a year) and are pretty soft as far as springs go. It makes for some sloppy handling. When I bought my car (used) in February it had the H&R springs and I was riding the bump stops really hard on my shocks so I hated them. I've had Eibach Pro-kit(1" drop'ish) springs on a 7th gen civic sedan which held up very well and never sagged, but in hindsight I would have preferred the sportlines (2" drop'ish). Right now I have the Buddy Club N+ coilovers on my EP3 which are pretty sweet so far. I even went on a 16,000 mile roadtrip with them this summer, but those sounds like they would be out of your price range: $1000. Just avoid Skunk2.
