Check out the Type R headlights on JDMHondaparts.com under new shit. What do you think? Too expensive?

not to bad of a price...I cant tell wether they are UK or JDM headlights because the housing isn't that dark. I JDM'd my own lights to hold me over till I can cough up the duckets for the real deal:D

there are two different healights. the darker one is the HID version that comes with HID and the lighter is for regular bulbs. both JDM and Euro. HID is option on CTR's

its a cake walk. The most time consuming part is masking and of course waiting for the paint to dry. I started @ 12 went to lunch @ 3 came home bolted back together and was driving in 20 min. It costs like $6 for materials. Honestly save yourself the money of paying some one on an afternoon or @ night for that matter just sit down and do it. Once you get started theres no turning back. Do it perferably during the day so the paint will dry quicker and theres less chance of some stupid insect crawling over it!:D

I'll hopefully be doing this next week (as well as tinting my sidemarkers and painting my "H"'s gun metal).

Well damn, I must be a big idiot...because I coudln't even get past the bumper...I couldn't get the damn thing off!!! I took out all the pins, and 4 screws....The bumper still didn't come off! It would move a lot in certain area's...it seemed to not move right below the headlight...like something was still attached there...damn....not a good day.

IceD out N CALI

Dunrick
12-15-2002, 09:58 AM
I'll try it...Seriously feels like I'm going to snap my bumper...Is that plastic durable??? Doesn't seem like it can take a nice tug at all....thanks man - Peace

MYEP3
12-15-2002, 11:51 AM
i thought I was going to snap by bumper llike a twig! but after the first time it gets alittle easier. make sure that when you put it back on you line up the two guide pins (or what ever their called) right below the headlight.
