I've heard conflicting opinions about the reflash & cams together, but I wouldn't think it would present big problems.

The 6-speed & reflash will go together just fine.

I heard stage 1 is ok and the 6 speed should be great to take advantage of the smoother power band.

sounds good, before buying the cams, does the skunk2 stage 1 cam make any difference on the power with the reflash? does anyone have like a dyno sheet on it?

i imagine there would be some gains experienced, but since the reflash is not "tuned" for cams there won't be as big of a difference as k-pro. I would just do what I am about to do. Buy K-Pro and then when you have the extra cash get some cams and an a1 head.

wouldnt you have to upgrade your valvetrain if you go kpro? would that be a little more extra cash?

not if you have k-pro.

if you are going to keep the stock redline, then you do not HAVE to upgrade the valvetrain. HOWEVER, if you are wanting to raise the redline and you do cams - it will always be safer to upgrade the valvetrain. you are already in the head with the cams, might as well do it right the first time.

yeah, i think that if you're going to be revving to 7,700 with reflash or kpro you may want to upgrade. Just a safety measure, but not a must
