tweeter and amp

Bought a set of ALPINE 6.5" Type R Component.
Do I need a separate amp for the tweeters?
or Can i just run it with 2 channel amp.
I have a powerful 2 channel amp

The tweeters and woofers should be wired to the crossover, then the crossover should go to the amp (type r's don't like headunit power...).
If you don't have the crossovers (assuming you bought these used), I HIGHLY suggest you get one.
