just got avic-d3 doubledin

will it still sound good with stock speakers or should I get some aftermarket. also has anyone ever installed a similar unit, if so where did you put the gps reciever in the front or rear? as soon as i get it installed i will post some pics i looks so sweet can waitr to get it in the car

I dont have this unit but I do have the eclipse. I mounted the antenna outside right above the windshield. ran the wire out the firewall grommet near the ecu on the passanger side and ran the wire under the plastic trim on the side of the windshield. short sweet and easy. much easier than when I ran the sirius antenna out the antenna hole in the back.

I do agree the sirius antenna looks much cleaner. still thinking about getting a fm antenna/sirius antenna combo so it looks even better though.
