ball joints/tie rods

Hey,
How long did everyone's factory front lower ball joints and outer tie rods last?
I replaced mine after 100k miles over 5 years. Michigan is hell on suspension components.

I broke my drivers side after 60k

bad ball joint and wheel bearing at 80k.

Baroda, MI and Howard city, MI. drove there for a few jobs. Horrible roads. lol.

Went thru two sets of wheel bearings in 124K miles, untill I swapped over to a complete RSX typeS 5lug/brake swap and hand fitted a set of aluminum concentric wheel rings, perfect shape with 126K miles on them.

Never had an issue with the ball joints, swapped them out for T1R extended ball joints at 48K miles(on the swapped typeS) and they are fine with 78K miles. But I am in the process of replacing the ball joint boots now, they appeared to have been damaged by being cut by something, probably ice during the winter. I think the extended ball joints allow a bigger build up of ice or something. There isnt any damage to the ball joints themselves, which is good.
