i was thinking about getting some 16" gold jmags for my black ep...what do you guys think? i think it would look sick but just wanted some other opinions. 17" jmags would be too big right?

my ep, soon to have tint and hfp kit

16s look too small to me. I would go 17" or maybe even 18".'

maybe some Rota Subzeros like this in 17" with some sticky tires.

http://www.subydude.com/images/prod/rota/wheels/rota18subzero40045royalsilver.jpg

I like gold a lot, but at the same time gold and bronze are very common. Go for something more unique.

I the UK ep3s come with 17" rims so a lot of people upgrade to 18" rims. Something to think about.

na no 18....they are kinda expensive in 17" so idk

Rotas are about the cheapest rims you can get that still look good. Welcome to the game. lol

Maybe some 17" Rota Slipstreams would be a reasonable price.

I would check ephatch's classified section for some rims you like and then you can repaint them whatever color you like.

Good luck in your hunt. Remember that 16" rims might be too small if you get a big brake kit.

the 16" jmags cost $600 shipped on ebay without tires...on some other wheelsites they go for over $200 each so yea these arent cheap. I wont be getting a big brake kit, just slotted rotors

i like the polished idea better than gold.

That's pretty cheap dude. I just bought a set of wheels for what I call "cheap" & paid more than double. My next set be double that.

As for the topic at hand, I'd like to see polished-- I like the gold, but the polished lip ON the gold sucks. Badly.

Maybe you should paint your stock wheels black and get some new tires and think for awhile what rims to get?

Have you looked HERE (http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/wtpack.jsp) yet?

im going to dissagree with you sorry princess...

i think 18s are too big looking on the ep, i think 16s actually look really good with a 50 or 45 series sidewall, which is still a very useful sidewall for the street as well...the 16s have a more aggressive sporty look that the jmags kinda require, if you go too big on them they are going to look like giant plates with a piece of rubber pulled around them since they are an older style wheel they look best with a lil rubber around them

as for the bbk, they might not fit you are right, but the thing is, ive got type s/type r brakes now, and they have PLENTY enough stopping force for the street, i can barely get them hot enough to make good use of them, bbks are a waste on the street

personally imo jmags belong on older hondas. not a fan on our body style.

i agree they are an older wheel that were designed for older hondas, but i havnt seen them on the ep, and id bet they really wouldnt look bad at all, id bet they would look good

my suggestion is though gold might look good, id personally stick to polished, though ive never been a huge polished fan i think that would be the right choice for these wheels on your black car... :mwink: thats just the car designers oppinion hahahaha

Chazwick05

they aren't jmags, but they are rotas, and gold with a polished lip  D2 17x7.5" with a +45mm offset

edit: lol forgot to add the pic
