whats the offset? 205/40 seems like a stretch why not go a little bigger.

going for the strecthed tire look? a 205/40 stretched over a 8" wide wheel doesnt leave much sidewall.
also what year is your ep? your speed-o is gonna be off a minimum of 5mph

like a mofo youll be rubbing. even with a 2" drop you will. not to mention it is gonna be sticking way out. id stick to something in the +40 offset range. you can still do 8 inch wide but with way lesser issues if any at all. i am running 17x8 with a +42 and have no problems also dropped 2".

You can do it you will have to roll your rear fenders and maybee pull your front ones. And have a real negative camber in the rear, but thats only if you have a 0+ offset. I would recommed that your tire be 205 45 16 but its up to you though. i think i have heard of peole putting a 195 but that super stretched correct me if im wrong.

you will rub with a 0 offset, and the wheel will stick out past the fender.
You will need to flare the fenders, or get fender flares.

205/40/16 is the perfect size.. .my friends got them on his em2 with 8.5" in the rear.. you need to slam your ep3 btw.
ride heights like that help kill the low offset trend lol

IMO 2.5" is fine. No wheel gap and your tires arent tucked. Thats if youre running 205/50/16 :msmile:
