17" with 1 or 2 finger gap. :mtongue:i think slamming an ep is a good way to loose all pleasure when driving it. It's sexy but, who needs a sexy wife if it's only for looking at her cuz she's not able to give you pleasure .

I wish I did, that was when JDM EP3 tried out the spoon mono brakes and wanted to see if they fit inside. The wheels spun without hitting the brakes, but he had MAYBE a millimeter of clearance between two very expensive JDM pieces, so he sold the setup after taking a couple of baller pics. That's the only pic I have though, his was black and was probably my favorite EP ever to grace this site. Since he was cramming the brakes into them, I'm sure they were 17s.

wish there were 16s in this wheel but 17 looks the best for our car, if it had to be between 17 and 15.

SICK CAR MAN!! Those rims go really good with your setup... Whats the width on them?

ShadySi
06-11-2008, 11:33 AM
I say 17's but get as much offset as possible on them. I don't know if it would be possible.. but shoot for a 17x8 +25 or 30 :mangel::mangel:

you would probably have to run 205's or 215's and roll your fenders.. I hope you'd have coilovers and free control over your camber :mwink:

BUUUT.. it woudl be bad ass

EP3_Souljah
06-12-2008, 08:16 PM
Well I'm going to order the 17" now i just don't know whether to get 7.5" or 8" width...LOL...I'm riding on tein flex with a rear camber kit. Either way, I would like to run 225 tires.

Sucka
06-12-2008, 08:30 PM
The Spec on my wheel is

17 X 7
114.3
+37 offset

Tires:

Yokahmo Avid H4's
215/45/R17

Dropped on Megan Race Coilovers. Still can go like 1.5 more inch lower

Go with the 17's. Our cars are too big to look good on a 15 inch rim. Then just get a bigger brake setup to fill in the extra room.

whatever you get, make sure the offset is good!

You can get away with 17x8 +42.

i think 17's make our car run slower due to the heavier rims...

depends how much heavier.

i went from the stock 15's to 17x7.5 rota torques (~19lbs) and i dont notice anything.

Whats the lowest offset i can get away with on these rims in 17x8??
I want as much lip as possible front and rear. Rear lip must me equal or deeper than the fronts. and ill be rolling the fenders.

It's difficult to pull off the 15's unless you're slammed with a proper CTR kit

I think 15s look better without the kit.

Definitely get 17s if you have (or plan to have) a CTR/HFP (or others) kit.
