Hey guys I have noticed that the under part of my hood is very dirty and I want to clean it. I want to remove that cloth looking piece that is attached to the bottom of our hoods; it is dark grey in color and is held attached to the hood by what appears to be circular clips. I want to remove this piece clean the area under the hood that it covers and also clean the cover itself, I believe that the piece I want to remove it to insulate the hood and keep it from getting too hot and possibly damaging the paint on the hood. How do I remove this without breaking the clips? I am OCD about getting things clean, even parts that cannot be seen. Thanks in advance everyone!!!

use a pop tool....or some needle nose and gently pop out all those clips, take off the washer hoses and your set! done
