Help Painting Rims with Lip

I have a set of 17 inch Motegi FF7's. I want to repaint the wheels, but not the lip. They have a silver lip, which i like, but I dont know how to tape off or what to do not to get paint on the lip. If anyone has seen a link on here, or if anyone can help me out, itd be much appreciated!

get some painters tape, and tape it up, run ur finger around the lip to ensure the tape is on there and spray away.

yeah, thats what i was thinking... it is kinda a big lip, so i didnt know what i would need to do to cover it up...now just to decide on a color choice
