SIGuy, what color do you have in your driving lights? I was thinking about the 4 LED whites, but wasn't sure of how they'd look.

Do you think the 4 LED's in 1 would be too much?

Here's a pic of mine. It's only a single LED in superwhite. Looks really cool when you use the keyless entry.

i have some "xenon" wegde bulbs for driving lights, the install is really easy, easier than the headlights, the blinkers were kind of a bitch though, you need to take the wheel liner out

they look more blue than white, is that just the effect of the camera, are they more white when you view them in person ?

they're actually a whiter than that. More of a bluish grey tint instead of just blue.

Today, my size 194 LED lightbulb order arrived -- 4-LED amber bulbs, 4-LED whites, and a pair of single LED red bulbs.

The amber LEDs are actually more of an orange than stock, and fit into the side blinker housing. They look fine from the side of the car, but don't send as much light as the stock bulbs to the rear, which is a more important viewing angle. They were neat, but I took them back out.

I bought the red bulbs to put in the ceiling cluster, with the intent of preserving night vision while on the highway. In that sense, they work, and they're more of a pure red than the "mood light" 194 bulbs I bought at a truck stop. I could've gotten the bulbs with 4 LEDs and gotten more light, but still preserve night vision.

The white bulbs went in front as parking lights. They seem dimmer than the stock bulbs, but that could be because of how they give off less light to the sides, and therefore send less light to the reflector. They've definitely got a bluish tint when compared to stock. I'm leaving in the pair of white LEDs simply because I think the color combination looks interesting.

Here's a 194 4-LED bulb installed as a parking light.

I saw some amber LEDs recently, and considered getting them. But not anymore! Thanks!

I just got a bunch of Blue and Red Leds for my interior, and some wedge type blue and white bulbs also for like 2.60 or something.... can't beat the price, just hope they fit now :-) Looked the same...

http://www.superbrightleds.com/

I'll report back when I find out. oh, the plain blue LEDs were like 1$ a piece, and the reds were like .60$ a piece, so pretty good prices, I don't have any affiliation, just thought it was a good source. Bill

Well,

The LED in my right parking/driving light spot went out sometime today. I replaced it with one of the original incandescent bulbs that I had kept after changing to LEDs, and decided that I'd rather have the original ones.

My priority, really, is to have something eye-catching, but for safety, not for style points. When I put the stock bulb back in, I turned them on to check, and I could see the stock one much more easily. The highly-directional nature of the 4-LED lights make them seem bright enough by themselves, but they give off very little light to the reflector, and as a result they don't give off as much total light as the regular filament bulbs.

So, back to the stock 194 bulbs for me. Maybe I'll try out one of the other filament-type bulb styles in a while.

Be carefull with the blue led lights . I got a ticket for running the blue/white led.I had a 2bulb led in the front. Now I cant even pay my ticket.(the cops wont let me)..I have to go to court for running a blue light in my lighting system. Just a thought for you guys wanting to run blue led's

finally took a picture of my lights with the 2$ blue LEDs from the place I linked to earlier... To date I've had no problems with cops, and have driven behind them, in front of them, besides them etc... but I have my spare white ones in case I do have a problem (White LEDs that is). That is stock low beams for color comparison. Ocelaris
