After saying hello in meber introduction i do now also soem thread according my car.....

It was bought on 24th of december in 2005 (no joke) with 15km or ca. 9 miles on clock.

Car was ordered as with basic options for the german model "Civic Sport BAR" plus cosmic grey pearl paint.
Final price had included 4 Winter Tyres in 205 / 55 R16 and getting license plate etc.

First time I drove to german army with my car...after my time was ended there
I'm in education for an mechanic...(now is half time ...for this education)

In 2007 I begin to tune my car, problem is here to became tuning parts, which are legal -otherwise police stops you and you loose operating license for your car....

So first was lowering it with Eibach lowering springs
after that I found some Type-R Spoiler and bought it. But it needed to be painted from white into cosmic grey pearl....no problem because a friend of me has done this.

Some littlte things i had done were for ex. cleaning the "BAR emblems" from Fender and trunk, painting brake calipers in red, installing red feetweel lightining (hope you understand?).

Also i had on my windshield some "Honda The Power Of Dreams" writing in red, but it has to go since December 2007, when my windshield was broken in cause of stone-chipping and some hit on a road curb ( road became slipperly from the one to the other moment :( )

But this is another story....

In 2007 ,too, I installed A-pilars upholstered with Alcantara in a black-antharazit look.

in 2008 I installed some heater (same as you get für D17A2, but the pric ehad to pay here, you get in US 3 pieces...)

This year I had changed roof liner...the new one is upholstered...of course...with Alcantara

After testing a normal air intake for K20 engines on my D14 engine ( brutal sound, but sits very unfavorable --> so it gets hot air.)

Because of this I had orangized me some Carbon Air Intake from the german Honda tuning part store TSS....and when I get it was stand on package...SIMOTA...but if i bought a normal Simota I wouldn't have documents for operating licene...without them police mothball your car :(

This year I have changed alloys from OEM 16" into 17" ASA Jh5 alloy
wheels...and brghtness of the tyre changed from 205 / 55 R16 into 215 / 45 R 17....


looks very nice but road curbs are my enemys....

That depends on your personal budget you have for the EP....you could buy here K20A2 Civic Type-R...but our gasoline prices are very high...and insurance too....

got some new project for my summer holiday, which I have in 2 weeks...

I build a new trunk type, becuase Subs waste place...so i would build a sub box for spare tyre mold...Chad helped with his own thread to that problem and this gave me the basic idea for my concept...

Today i removed side skirt on drivers side because some clips dont do their job to hold the skirt... When i had seen the mounts for clips at the skirt I goona saying....What the hell....some unvisible cracks from a little crash in december 07 have destroyed nearly 50 % of the clip holders....now I fixed them all with some 1K automotive glue....hope that will work...

With gas near 8 dollars a gallon in Europe, people sure as hell don't even want to looks at a K series engine..... with them engine they are getting 38 mpg easy! The only way one will ever get 30 MPG with our K's is if you drive like a grandpa!

Thanks...but only the 04 and 05 EPs got these projector headlights...01-03 models got the same as everyone of you have...

If you have money and could organize or know some logistic service who would send bumper to you...you could have one front set....

headlights or taillights are no problem to send them to the states...could get them new at my local dealer, taillights maybe used ones with good condition...

Some news about my car...

Today I installed some (park distance control) and used some original Honda Accord kit for it....of course it worked...

Yesterday i sent my dad to customs because i have to work when they re open, so he collected my package with stuff from southbay honda...

So i fixed today some broken clip for rear pillar and replace the old rearview mirror with the new one, because i lost sth. at the old one ( so it sits not strong enough) when changing windshield...

post some pics later....after raining ended and car is cleaned ;)

Now i hae only some Eibach Pro Kit mounted ( 30mm lowering springs) on stock dampers.

If i have to change the dampers i choose between koni dampers and some adjustable suspension made by Eibach or KW.

Otherwise exterior is complete, exluding the "typeS" Emblem on front and rear... front badge what i want isnt available in Europe ( one from RSX ), but i bought some new one at ebay.com...just needs to be shipped. The rear one i have to buy at dalership from the new model.

Well some front lip like you have it in the HFP kit would be interesring, but i wont spent over 450 Euros for some unpainted lip here.

Next i want to do is installing cruise control and install some Subwoofer in spare tyre mould (just in building) .

Cruise control would be difficult because: I need electricial and interior stuff from EP3 and engine room stuff ( actuator + holder + wire to throttle body) from Civc Coupe Em2 (EX in the US ?? )

my ep currently stands in a friends garage while we are putting it back to stock.

Tomorrow will will do the headlight setup (HIDs go , halogen projectors come).

The car get sold in a few weeks, my "new" car is some 2003 Civic Type-R 30th Anniversary Edition colured in NHBP
