I saw a link to a video here where someone shows how to take the radio console out in a jiffy. Does anyone have that link? I have looked but cannot find it.
Thanks

From Jax's sig. line. The one you want is on the bottom of page one, second row up, and the title says something about stereo removal.:mwink:

Does anybody have any advice as to how to unscrew the 2nd set of bolts? The ones that are 90*, for the life of me I can't figure out how to get them out.:mfrown:

Do you mean the two that hold the bottom of the centre dash console on the inside bottom of the metal frame? Once I took them off with an extension and a universal flex joint. Last time I used a stubby wrench. You only have to loosen the bolts enough to slide the whole radio frame and dash piece out.

Sorry I don't have PS right now, or I would draw on the picture to help explain!

I grabbed them with a small locking plier on the end and twisted just enough to loosen them, they are a PITA

Ratcheting wrenches are money.

I bought a stubby ratchet that breaks at the head by 90 degrees in increments, it's GREAT for working in that hole, god knows, I've been in there enough.

Watch for the sharp stuf!
