Cut a piece of the rear end of the OEM heatshield off... Do not take it all off.

Yeah I have a megan midpipe as well. It rattles only when I turn the car on, after that it goes away. I had a shorty header and the midpipe connected to a Spoon N1 and it sounded good, but I just purchased a different exhaust so its coming off here this week. It didnt rattle when I had the shorty header on midpipe, but once I put on a DCRH thats when it started to rattle on start up.

do not use heat wrap, it'll eventually eat through that pipe.

I would try to cut the heat-shield a bit first.

Hmm, then try some longer polyurethane exhaust hangers.

NO problem, they're rather cheap and they might just solve your issue.

I was thinking about picking this pipe up to run with my DC shorty. I think i will wait and buy a HKS or Greddy. I really don't want to deal with this problem.

did find some info on the problem also

From .colin "the only thing is the midpipe sometimes bangs on the floorboards right after the cat. it can be fixed by dimpling the pipe where it bangs."
in this link: http://www.ephatch.com/forum/showthread.php?t=47110&highlight=megan

I hope this helps also

Maybe use coat hangers for a temporary solution to keep the catback section from moving around?

I'll probably be selling my stock axle back and megan midpipe here in the next couple of days. Gonna put on my greddy ti-c tomorrow hopefully if I'm not too tired from work. Dam night shift kicks my ass some times
