Running 215/40ZR18 Parada Spec-2. A bit noisy at around 30-45 MPH. Freeway not too bad. NO WHERE near as silent as the factory Mich. at whatever speed, however, I can pass people on the outside or inside

I did manage to get the rear out while trailbraking on a off ramp once. Not scary at all and the tires DO NOT squeal much when pushed. They feel good in the rain too.

PoRT, you may be thinkin' about the A520's... those are really nice tires. The Parada Spec II has a tread-wear of 300, and has a good balance of looks, value and performance. Have you tried Kumho's?

I have A520s before, love it... Had Intermediates before, loved it too... You can't go wrong with Yokos...

BTW, they have this new tires called AVS ES100, this will be a lot better than Parada Spec2, whatever Yokos used to have.

If you want quietness, and wet traction, you would not want to go with Parada. Try ES100....

I second the vote for ES100's. Those are the tires I have on the old civic and they're great. I also had the old Paradas before and I have to say dry and wet traction is much better with the ES100's. They're quiet as stock, stick like glue, and cheap as kumhos. If you do get Paradas, I have to warn you about the droning noise like EP33 said and it gets worse as they wear. Lots of noise too on the freeway but you won't notice as much because of wind noise. They don't make any noise at the limit, just kinda skips and breaks away. I like my tires to have a little warning before they reach the limit but that's my preference. ES100's are supposed to replace the now discontinued Intermediates and A520 so they can't be all that bad. :)
