I just uploaded my k20a3 base map to get started and launch control won't work, anybody else have these problems? O and I have a p0661 code for intake manifold butterflies I believe, do I have the wrong map loaded? I believe that code is only for rsx's

In regards to the launch control, I don't think it's enabled by default. You have to modify whichever kal you're going to use.

Thanks, would that have anything to do with my launch control not responding?

If you haven't enabled it then yes that's probably why

Just choose your kal, edit it so that launch control is enabled and set at whatever RPM you want (3000 rpm is a good starting poing), then just upload it. Only works at speeds of 3 mph or less if I remember correctly.

I've found that the launch control is only usable on the street. On the track, the better grip means it needs more throttle to avoid bogging, and the fuel cut "bounces" too slowly to be usable (at least with the JRSC). So don't put too much faith in Kpro's launch control until you've had a chance to try it.

It's not just you bro, I'm running the new update of kmanager and my launch control won't work either. It's starting to piss me off.

Yeah I've heard of a few guys on crsx having the same problem with the new update. Somebody said to unstall the update and reinstall the driver for it. I will proally try that later this evening if I can't figure it out.

its not a cn "60-1" (60trim t3/t4) its a real 60-1 .82 with a s-cover, its the same as your 3582r except bushing instead of ball bearing.

anyways i sold my kit today im going NA baby!till my new kit comes in

mine is a bit different than a reg 35r

the only thing that comes from garrett is the chra

the blades and the housings are all custom fullrace specs

i like the font change, I was about to ask about the NA plans, but when I went to quote your statement I saw the other part. With the skin color it was almost impossible to see if I didn't look for it.

heres how big my turbo is, if i had a k20 it wouldnt fit with this manifold. i have 19mm of more clearance from that main shaft mount thing.

I must say my launch control stopped working after I downloaded the new kmanager also.. can anyone explain how full throttle shift works?

Well launch control will work on all options except allways on. Which is no big deal I just have a put a little pressure on the steering wheel to engage it.

Ok well I posted that question to the techies at hondata and they said there is a bug for the 1.2.3.5 version, and until they fix the problem they said to set it up like this: on the switch options set it to the brake switch and then envert the clutch control. That is the little box right under the switch options. I did this and it works just like before just no launch control with the brake pedal depressed which shouldn't even be a problem.

Works for me with "Always On" selected...

Nice I didn't think about inverting the clutch switch. I was trying off the brake switch and it's a bitch to use all 3 pedals at the same time lol, even though I heel/toe rather often.

who ever said the limiter is to slow I bet you have it set around 4k try over 6k and its fast ass hell. Btw I wouldn't even use it with street tires

retard the timing right and it gets faster

The "bounce" is too slow with a heavy load, no matter what RPMs you set it at. And 6k would be way overkill with the torque from the JRSC... I'd have to slip the clutch so much I'd kill it.

buliding boost before the launch ftw.

not if you had slicks, you could launch at wot and dump the clutch, pre loading of course

I'm not going to spend money on slicks just to make the broken launch control work. Or on a new clutch for that matter... preloading is just as bad as slipping it on the launch.

Just so you guys know, bouncing off the revlimiter(especially the launch limiter) no matter what the RPM's are set at, will eventually lead to a broken timing chain and TCT. It is only a matter of time.

Good luck with that.....

really? Wow that would suck something aweful.
