04-05 taillights

Hey, just wondering if 04-05 tails would fit in perfectly into a 02-03. Just curious as I am young and looking for an EP3 and an 02-03 would be much better on insurance for me and is basically the exact same, but i love the 04-05 tails!!! I dont mind the whole 4 bolt rims then 5, just the tails are so nice! haha

they bolt in but i believe the sockets are a little different

The brake lights are the same.
You'll have to use your current 02/03 reverse light sockets for your new 04/05 turn signal sockets.
You'll have to purchase new 04/05 reverse light sockets.

I'm curious, why would an 02/03 be better than an 04/05 insurance-wise? Nothing performance related was changed about the car.

insurance cost is largely based on the value of the car. newer car = higher value = higher insurance.

you got it...Its hard to find a nice EP3 in good condition with low kms, hardly any go up for sale in the GTA area...doesn't help that i want it in blue or white either... lol

02-03 tail lights are so much nicer than 04-05 :mangel:

to each their own. I like the look of the 04-05 tails with the HFP kit all around...and the HFP spoiler as well. I went to a honda dealership today that added an 04 to their online inventory on thursday...it was already sold :(

yea...good luck finding one. i searched for about 2 months and only found 1 that was in excellent condition with low miles and a decent price. wasn't able to be picky about the color, ended up with silver which i have grown to really like.

Haha, yeah, where abouts you from? I mean there are some around, but just a tad out of my price range. Im sure ill find one and i dont mind waiting it out till i find that right one. I have a 00' EK coupe right now that i enjoy, i just want to upgrade to a newer vehicle and I cant stop but drooling over these hatches whenever i see one on the road...which isn't often. Thumbs up for rarity :) lol

Very true these cars are getting rarer and rarer.There was only one for sale here in the whole albany area.I got soooo lucky it had 35k miles on it and one owner(who was a older guy and the car was bone stock not even tinted windows or audio deck).100% flawless inside and out.Also the value of these cars are going up and up.They cost the same if more as a used 06+ si around here and over in cali they go for over 20k!!!!!!
