Well just to give you guys some info beforehand. I was registered as derkaderkajihad before the site crashed and now my username is 3dkahuna.

All the info relating to my accident and my attempt to remove most of the dent was posted before the site crash. I am going to try and catch people back up with some pictures and video at the end, so lets get started.

Here is the day of accident photo of the damage.

Here is my attempt to remove the majority of the dent with a suction cup and removal of interior body panels to push the dent from the inside out.

Well, since I just recently had my driver side rear quarter panel replaced from Honda Carland in Roswell, GA. I have noticed a rattle coming from that side on occasion while driving so I decided to give it the tap test. Here is a video of my findings.

Well rear quarters have to be cut off and weld a new one in, very meticulous and tedious job. One faulty weld joint, can cause shitty sounds and eventually warping sheet metal. Its not a simple affair, so i can understand some crappy work, but from a dealer? Tisk, Tisk.

Youre right though it does sound rattly, I dont remember if those panels have any kind of support behind them, if they do that might be missing, or like i said, a crappy weld

remove those body panels from the inside, you should be able to see the welds.
My solution would be to go to a car store or something and buy a few sheets of fiberglass cloth
not the matting, the woven stuff that looks sort of like carbon fiber weave but its all white.
Then I'd bondo it on to the metal in the corners all over the body panel as best you can and then put epoxy resin over it and squeegee it, it should bond to the metal and it will give it some stiffness, possibly getting rid of the rattling
or you could maybe just glue some foam to it to absorb the sound =\

I know that the section had to be cut and re-welded back together. I just happened to notice more noise than normal when driving around coming from the replaced panel. I am going to be sound deadening the vehicle soon and will investigate the area some more.

I will also be doing a DIY for this as well but you pretty much can get the idea from the K-Series write-up already Here (http://www.k-series.com/tech_document.php?id=9)

right, so that leaves plenty of room for mistakes. And the dealer is the worst place for a job like that. I dont know the grounds of why you had to take it there, but there are shops that do way better jobs, you just gotta hunt. Either way, the car is NEVER the same when it comes to removing an otherwise permanent part.

Take it back to the dealership and get it fixed. That is just not right you would not have to do all the work for their mistake.
