Buy a RSX type S ECU

I think this would work but I can buy a RSX-s ecu which is prb and get krpo on it and reprogram my immobilzer and it will work in my EP3? Is Kpro Kpro or would I tell them this was from a rsx-s and going into a EP3 or just say EP3. Newb I know.

the more information you tell them, the better. what year type-s ecu are you using and what year is your car?

as far as the immobilizer, you can disable it and be good without having to get anything reprogrammed.

Used 2002 RSX Type S 6 Speed ECU. Serial # 37820-PRB-A07 Thats the ECU for sale.


The Type s ECU for sale is a 02-04 and my car is a 2004. The type s ECU is PRB and the EP3 PNF.

According to Hondata if I bought Kpro and an ECU from them they would use a type s ECU(PRB) for my EP3 so I thought I could save money and find one and send that to them, and save like 500.00.

yep.. it still runs just the same even if its a PRB board

The 02'-04' PRB ECU will work just fine with Kpro and the EP3.
