why not? I paid 350 for a tune that gave me 10 hp and I don't regret it a bit.

valve train ,stage 2 cams ,rbc intake manifold, hondata img, headers, intake, exhaust ,flywheel, stage 2 clutch and k-pro.
got 220 whp but i have a problem. the check engine is on and it reads (lean fuel system) so iam thinking of re-tunning

installing an RBC and not gettin it tuned will lean you out for sure...

Those injectors are good to 225-230 whp, anything more will require a set of 440cc. Anything over 80% will cause them to heat up and loose their precision.

With a decent header, a set off 440's and a dyno tune you should see 235-240ish

Getting additional horsepower is an added side bonus of a tune. The main attraction of the tune is to make sure the engine and all its components run properly; good a/f ratio, no knocking, etc...

for 350 i take it your going to church. they are good guys and they tune great but their dyno reads a little high.

Also, when you have a lean condition CEL, there are major problems going on, get the actual code # and then reset the ECU. Then do a little datalogging/street tuning to make sure you are not burning up your engine.

But it isnt all about the peak WHP#'s, getting a nice fat powerband will get you around town alot easier, faster and will feel much more "complete". A dyno and a good tuner can work wonders.

I'd spend the $350, to get it running right.

I'd say yes to using the $350 for tuning. Your car will be running at optimal performance, but it also depends if your tuner is good at tuning or not.

I hate to be an ass, but if you have no clue about A/F ratios and other basic tuning concepts, why do you have a swapped car... a 17:1 A/F was just asking for a blown engine.
