I've got a chance to trade my stockies for a set of 17" RIAX alloy wheels with Wanli S-1099 205/40 /ZR17 tires.... perfect shape!

Question... how bad will my 02 si look with that set up and no drop? huge gap???

thanks.

car already looks like a 4x4 with stock wheels and suspension. I say if you do get them, you should look into dropping your car too.

Yeah, i guess Wanli tires really suck i checked fourms on some site and people say they are noisey and the side walls are known to crack ..Grr!

well if you use plus sizing with the rim size and the sidewall.....the gap between the new wheels you list and stock should be the same

Drop the car and it will fine. 215/45/17s fit best though. Even then, you should drop the car a little.

I had the 205/40/17 set up before and I don't like it at all...it is really bad...you can feel almost every crack or uneven line on the road...

Yeah I know I just bought Kumho tires and it was a little over $510 just to buy the tires and shipping ONLY!!!!, I'm lucky enough that my boy mounted and balanced them for me since he works at a dealership.

Yea...what he said
If you have 205/40's might as well order about 2 more rims.

This is just my opinion but you'll need atleast 7.5 wide rims so they dont look TOO fat with 225/45s. I was very happy with 215/45s on 7 5s, they got to be dime a dozen here so I ditched them. Either will look great with a drop

Decided to keep the stockies for now,Maybe try them gun metal or black...Gonna buy the Eibach springs. Seem to hear good feedback about them
