Help! which picture???

So the first pic. is when i first got the car back...

and almost 2 weeks later i get my CF hood back on... so i went back to the same spot tonite to try and take the same pic... after 15min. of moving back and forth, i got CLOSE, but not quite =/

i wanna try and contribute one of these pics. for the 2009 calender but i dont know which... what do you guys think?

Both are taken with my point a shoot camera, Panasonic Lumix, so it's not that great of quality.

First pic: Brighter, windows down, no CF hood, less angled
Second pic: Dimmer, windows up, CF hood, more angled

lol... funny you said that. i honestly don't like to shine my tires. i have the black magic matte finish thing, which just makes it look flat black... the shine on tires is too much IMO

but i guess next time i take pics. i will haha.

when trying to recreat the pic, pay attention to the angle of your front bumper to the small dark line on the pavement. In the first picture they are not parallel, and in the second one they are, notice little things like in the first picture your rear tire is slightly behind the line and in the second one its on the line. but i like the 1st pic better

Great looking car. It's a shame you don't show off more of that red paint with the hood.

#1 seems to have a wet look to the finish.....I would try to avoid the reflection of the post light off of the hood though....and did anyone suggest to put the windows up?:mwink::mwink:

haha, well the first pic was the very day i got the car back so it was at it's shiniest... and the 2nd is 2 weeks later after being in the sun, rain and stuff. but also the angles make them look different too lol.

and you're right, i was looking at the light post shining on the hood... i guess i'll move the car back a bit more so the light won't reflect. thnx.

What type of troubles did you run into? When is the next full moon? that shot would look great with a bigass full moon on the rise.......

i just couldnt get the lighting exactly like the original shot... i moved back and forth, up and down at least like 5 times... tho i got the angle closer to the original pic, they all came out darker than the 2nd one so i just deleted them =/

Both of the photos in the first post look underexposed (camera shutter not open long enough). I would fill 75% of the photo frame (or more) with the car itself, let the background go out of focus. Use a tripod and countdown timer mode. Fill flash might be a good idea to fill the shadows in.

Your car is beautiful. I am diggin' the red HFP. I saved the picture as my desktop wallpaper.

leave your stock hood on it look more oem, I have the same carbon fiber hood and its just sitting in my garage, so leave it, it look dope yo:cool:

I like #2. But i would shine the tires(or just wet them with a damp cloth) an d i would turn the wheel to the left so it is parrell with the botom of the pic.

As for the 1st and 3rd. the 1st angle is too sharp and the no cf hood. the 3rd is mainly the dirty lookin tires with toooo much lighting.
