clutchnet.com buddy. I ran the race kit with their yellow x2 pp and fiber carbon disk. Great for what you want. I have run that and a clutchnet 6 puck and trust me, don't do a 6puck for what kind of power your looking to make.
i daily drive a Compatition 6 puck sprung clutch, it releases a little close to the floor but you can adjust that other then that i love it not a problem to speak of!!!!

Maybe it's hit or miss with the 6puck. I can dd with mine don't get me wrong, but I don't need it anymore and it grabs why to hard for my k24 with bolt on's. I hate reverse with the 6 puck, it feels like it's going to break the trans. if your don't rev the crap out of your motor while slipping it.
i have a k24 with bolt ons, 6 speed trans with lsd so my power isnt split through one wheel so that might be why

Very well could be. Since i have gone back to n/a and no more boost i can't stand the 6puck. It chatters in 1st and like crazy in reverse. I hope to get my new stock disk and yellow x2 pp installed this weekend.
I don’t have any chatter at all... I have an F1 Racing 11lb fly wheel rsx-s 02 6 speed, obx lsd, competition stage 4 6 puck spring....shit I just realized how much money I waste on my car lol, I digress... the only problem I have been having is the engagement of the pedal, it hits ON my floor not right above, I tried to space out the ball in the tranny the shifter fork rides on but it didn’t help much

I don't know, maybe the competition stage 4 is smoother then the clutchnet stage 4 6puck. I'm running the stock ep3 flywheel.
it might be the flywheel, mine is an rsx-s style one *shrugs*

okay so most of you upgraded your fly wheel? i was trying to stay with the stock one to save some money... will the clutchnet one work?

i would reccomend a flywheel upgrade to an RSX-S because then you will have a larger spectrum of clutches to choose from. you can get a stock rsx-s if you want it will work fine and be cheap

Best option IMO competition stage2 clutch and stock rsx fly. You can get both shipped for about 425 total.

For a DD with bolt-ons and even a JRSC, I don't see why you would need to use anything other than a stock clutch.
There are HPDE / track cars out there with 150,000 miles running on stock clutches. Save your money and your leg muscle.

He is right. I ran the race kit for a good while with the stock clutch. As long as you don't dump the clutch or do lots of drag then you should be fine.

I retract this last statement. Comp clutch sucks. I have been through 4 comp clutches and each one breaks in the exact same spot. Pure crap.
epic, because i make as much torque as you, and i'm looking for a new clutch as well. will def not be getting comp clutch. i may be making more tq here shortly. since we did bump this thread, what would be a clutch that has a comparable feel to OEM, but can hold upwards of 300-350tq?
