View Full Version : What do I need to assemble the Aftermarket Shocks and springs? Version 2.0

Ok, I found this thread, but I didn't want to highjack it, as he has a slightly different setup.

I'm going to replace SKUNK2's with OEM struts, to stock OEM springs and struts over the July 4th weekend.


I want to make sure I have all the parts I need.

I took some pictures of the fronts to assist in the process.( I'll try to get some of the back later tonight.)

From what I have read I will need at least the bumpstops for all wheels.

I have also added the rear Struts bolts to the list ( They are almost stripped out)


I would like to confirm, after I order these parts I will be stuck with them.

My goal is="Daily driver" that doesn't bottom out with my 18 inch wheels.

If you look closely, you can see a piece of rubber hanging, I am assuming this is a cut bump stop, thoughts?

replace the bolts, and bumpstop, im pretty sure you can reuse your top hats and bearing considering they are still in good shape?
