To add a front lip or not, need some input.

Whats up guys, im thinking about adding a front lip and want some second opinions. So here she is:

Keep her simple without front lip, or add a front lip to add some flair to the front clip? If your for the lip, what style do you suggest? Thanks in advance

I think it looks great as is, but it also depends what lip you get.

If you get one that pairs up well with your side skirts you should be fine, just a little poorer.

Just don't get a lip that makes it the focal point of the car.

The only lip you can get away with without buying a whole kit would be the CTR replica, and even then it doesn't flow well with the stock side skirts. I say leave it as is or get the whole CTR lip kit.

I wish we had some "simple/generic" abs front lips (that dont cover part of the bumper) available, kinda like the clean simple ones you see on the 94-01 Integras and older Civics. imo we need front lips that look simple like the "home depot" DIY lips.

2. Yeah im also leaning towards leaving her as is, i know "less is more" more often than not. Im just 50/50 right now. Hmmm i didnt think of that, i think your foglight suggestion might be feasible. Ive always wanted fogs, im not gonna have yellow fog lenses though, ill keep em clear if i go that route.

Good point, also if i put on a front lip ill be scraping it up everywhere i go unless i raise up the car...which im not planning on doing. imo if i get the front lip id need the rear/sides to complement it as well...all or nothing kind of thing. Ive decided to not add a lip, instead im gonna opt for some fogs keeping them clear. :)

After seeing so many different ep's, I noticed how high the f & r bumpers sit on a stock one. When you look at a strait side profile, the front is noticeably higher than the bottom of the oem side skirts, and the rear is even worse.

Notice how with the hfp kit, the bottom ends up being pretty much level from front to back, giving the car a sportier look.

Hehe glad to be in your top 5 picks of favorite eps, i believe less is more and clean & simple is the route to take, thats why i wanted second opinions on the front lip since adding that piece would disrupt the OEM flow of being lip less. I just thought of adding the lip to have some jive up front but decided to stay lip less.

2. I still love my EP just the same when i first got her, i just think how glad i am to be driving a Civic thats not your average Civic (distinct body style, dash mounted shifter, "bullet design", etc) So i never really get bored with her, but i do get the urge to splurge on her every once in a blue moon.

Thievery in Union City for the lose, shit happens though so best thing to do is just deal. hehe yup all well there is one thing i plan to do in terms of mo murda, i plan to lightly smoke the reverse circles on my tails, its gonna be 50% tint film and possibly paint the CF VIS wing night hawk black pearl just so it looks like the stock HFP wing and to look more uniform since im not much of a carbon fiber whore.

1. Thanks mang, imo thats the thing with EP3s. We cant get "simple/not overly aggressive" lips like the older civics/tegs had available. Well with the exception of the CTR lip...that was is decent. But imo the Mugen lip looks like a snow plow...not a bad thing its pretty aggressive but it makes me think rice even though its Mugen.

3. the CTR is one of the lips i could see being a candidate should i have a change of heart for a lip.
