I saw one on crsx making 300whp w/ only stage 2 cams and mild 12.5:1 pistons. It was sleeved w/ rods/ pistons forged. a2 head w/ brian crower stage 2 cams. Beastly motor.

there isnt much difference between the k24 setups with the FR kit and the k20
there is actually more clearance with the down pipe
the only other thing you will need is the crv passenger mount

well alot more tq for one
i went with the k20a2 because the ease of installation and the fact that there are several k20's putting out alot of power
plus the higher rev limit keeps me in power a bit longer (im revving to 9.2) and 500 is made right at 7k (right around where most k24 guys limit is set at)
the revlimit is because of the longer stroke on the k24
i mean look at scotts dynos he made 10 more ftlbs of tq than i did but even if my car wasnt built id be in power alot longer than him so all in all the trade off is better IMO
fully built and 20psi i made 503 and 360tq i make 400 at 6k and 500 from 7-9k
and that was pump gas
now if i get tuned on race gas i can expect my numbers to reach the 600+mark
cliff notes
easier to install (little to no fitment issues)
stay in power longer
and i didnt have to build a hybrid engine
(im not knocking k24s or hybrids in general they can make awsome tq but the power tends to be the same) i just get to stay in it longer
and it takes alot of work to build a proper hybrid
