Car keeps goin into limp mode?

Had this problem just an hour ago, and around about a month ago. I would be driving and all of sudden my car would just go into limp mode, as in wouldnt rev past 4k rpms. If i turn off the car, and turn it back on it goes away. I had this problem once when i was on k-pro, but now I am on stock ecu. Any reasons what is causing this? what to check out?

What was the CEL for ????

Otherwise it is like playing "pin the tail on the donkey".
