View Full Version : 12v power source by inside cupholders not working- help

liek the titale says the 12v power source thing by the cupholders on the center console thing is not working. anyone know what fuse to check? or anything else that would make it not work before i go crazy:msmile:

it came unplugged. Or the ground is bad or the 12 volt wore has an open or short. Its an easy fix.

i took thigns apart and didnt see any loose connectiosn or plugs

have you tested the power or ground with a meter? i would think you would find your short that way....

i dont know if there is a fuse for that, i would also look for that.


edit: found this in s2000 button dyi...." fuse that is for the the cig (it should be second row from the bottom, third from the right)"

it says check the voltage and also the fuse is a 15a, no. 18 in the under dash one.


mine was fine so i have to check other stuff, cant right now though no time:mfrown:

alright then.

well do you have a meter so you can test if there is sufficient ground/power at the fusebox? that way you can begin to isolate where you are loosing the connection.

yeah i have a m eter, and even have my page open in the helms telling me what to do, i just dont have anytime right now:mfrown:
