Can this even work right? Can you put the supercharger for the a3 on an a2?

I don't think this works. The holes in the JRSC don't all bolt up right.

that makes no sence at all.....the block for the k20a3 and k20a2 are the same

so it should bolt up fine. you would need a smaller blower pully because the crank pully is smaller on the a2

i think all you need is the rsx tensioner

The only difference in the a3 and a2 blower bodies is that the a3 rotors are stacked vertically (vs. horizontally on the Type-S), so it can fit in the tighter engine bay.

It works, it's been done. Only the tensioner assembly (bracket) needs to be slightly modified to fit correctly.

Alternatively, you could use the A2 JRSC on the A2, in an EP -- you need to hammer out parts of the frame though for the SC pulley to clear. This has also been done.

Ive also seen an A2 charger on and ep3 and vice versa. Only difference really is the tensioner assembly like stated above. However, you need to modify part of the front engine bay and supports to fit the A2 charger in the ep3 chasis. Also a local guy running a A2 charger on a k20a3 in an EK, bolted up just fine too. In the ep3 swaps only section, he has it listed with many detailed pics,

Ok so maybe just use a dremel to cut out the part of the radiator support that will hit?

Basically, thats what was done on the ones I saw. You also lose your stick that holds up the hood when open, but there's an easy mod to do away with it anyway.

Oh well what mod is that where you can due away with the hood prop?

Here you go, very cheap to do, works just like the dampener holding up your rear hatch when its open.
