Was washing my car the other day and I couldn't get these spots out with the normal car wash stuff. Any suggestions for a good wheel cleaner that will get rid of this caked on stuff?

I used Meguiars All Wheel Cleaner. I worked wonders. Removed stubborns stains and axle grease. Just let it sit there for a little bit, then scrub away.

I had similar stains on my other car and, if you have access to one, a pressure washer worked wonders. Don't blast too close though!

Whatever you do DON'T use "aluminum wheel cleaner" or other such specific products on your painted stock rims.

Yeah let me know what it is. I've tried the Meguiars and Seafoam ones but they still left stuff behind.

3m puts out a few good products that could solve your problem without affecting anything.

I use they're adhesive remover at work and it even takes off that annoying yellow road paint.

try the p21s wheel gel, its stronger than the regular p21s wheel cleaner. That should def work
