I was surfing ebay and I came across a set of recaro "style" seats. they look pretty good, and im really thinkin about em for the price. It says they are universal and come with universal sliders? would they be a pain to put on the ep3 or a good fit?

you'll need to get seat rails for them
they're probably a crappy material that will wear poorly, fade in the sun, and suck.
Not trying to bust your bubble, but i bought a set of "leather" racing seats for like 500 bucks off ebay a long time ago and my ass bust through the leather in 4 months.. And I only weigh 148 lbs.

I 2nd that, I had seats like this for my EK, they blew, ended up selling them for 100$ just to get rid of them. The adjusters are crappy, the material isn't really that high quality and the build quality is kinda meh. The brackets that are available to mount the things in the car seem of questionable quality as well.

replica lips/ hoods stuff like that is ok. I'd rather have some form of build quality on something I'm sitting my ass in.:mangel:

Do you trust these seats to not break at the hinge during an accident?

a lot of the online stores have pre-made rails for them, I've seen them online at a few of the forum sponsors stores for the ep3's. I'm not sure the quality of those ones they are possibly decent, the ones I bought for my EK were all bad, heck the part where the seat belt attached to could bend without even trying.. that led me to believe in an accident it would have no trouble letting go and causing trouble.

the brand of seats i had was yonka, you'll probably be able to find them at a lot of the online retailers.. anyways.. just better to save the coins and get nicer OEM ones or probably some recaro's or sparco's

Check in with Wayne at SSR here in the vendors. He was running a deal with the seat and sliders all in one. They were replicas but they looked exactly like the ones you were checking out on ebay. I didn't see the tread just now so you may have to call him up.
