So every since I have bought my car back in october I have been running a stock exhaust coming off of the 2.75" downpipe..oh and in advance im running a t3/t4 turbonetics kit..anyways so I decided to up it and get an exhaust made..so I went three inch all the way back and when I first drove it..it seemed to run a lot better..the turbo spooled up a lot quicker and the car itself seemed quicker..I was running 8psi before and after the exhaust 10psi..well I went to the track the next week and was running mid to high 15's all night when before I was running mid to low 14's all night..well come to find out i had a bad map sensor so I replaced it and the best i could pull out was a 14.7 at 93..I just cant figure out whats up..its running great and everything seems fine but it just seems to have almost lost power or im not doing something right..Im no spinning anymore than I used to probably less actually it seems like...anyone have any idea with whats going on...also I have the cybernations guardian piggyback unit..any help is appreciated thanks!

check sparkplugs? check for boost leaks? how old is the turbo? turbo could be going bad so look for burning oil or smoke behind the car.

the only smoke its blowing is black..which is the fuel where im running rich..and I know its not the clutch either...spark plugs are pretty new...i have checked for boost leaks...nothing there..the turbo is not that old maybe 20k miles on it at the most

I heard you lose torque with a 3in and gain a tiny bit of power. If your running the 550 injectors turn it up! Youll get a fuel cut around 310 whp so you cant kill it with those injectors and guardian. If youve got a 50 trim you should be able to knock out mid to low 13's around 14psi with street tires:mwink:

For sure. I have the Cybernation kit and am running guardian as well. Im still on the stock clutch and i can feel the power slipping right from under me. U need to upgrade the clutch on boost or you will never break mid 14's

Get rid of the guardian crap and get Kpro. Do you have any CELs? What were your traps and 60 foots before and after the exhaust. Post up specifics (60 foot, 1/8 et, 1/8 trap, 1/4 trap, etc)or even the slips of the runs.

im running NGK iridium plugs very good plugs...Im not losing power anymore I threw the MayA3 flash on there like you said dobbs and wow can i tell a difference..it feels great now..im running 10psi right now and i have tried to turn the boost up to 14 and after 5 grand it bogs down for some reason..I believe someone told me i might have too small of injectors but I have no idea what size they even are all I know is they are siemens injectors..i wanna get rid of them and get RC's but i dont have the money right now and how can i run above 10psi with the stock map sensor...Im thinking thats what caused the old one to shit out on me...also I dont have a stock clutch and ill have to dig up some time slips but before the exhaust I was getting 2.3 and 2.2 60 foot times which I know is not that great..and after i was getting 2.5 and 2.6 sometimes 2.7...and 1/4 times before were low 14's...14.4 and so on...after the first run i did i got a 15.3 and a 15.6 then i replaced the map and ran a 14.7 but after i did this new flash it feels way better than it ever has so im thinking high 13's are definently a possiblity right now especially if i can get the thing to run 14psi

Do yourself a favor and do a boost leak test. Especially if you're running rich all of a sudden. Testing for boost leaks should be part of regular maintenance anyway. Also, just because your boost gauge shows that you're reaching target boost doesn't mean that you don't have leaks.
